Our custom database designs allow us to deliver commanding programs to our customers, which increase productivity, automate workflow processes, and provide executives with critical management information.

Z Systems has designed and developed multiple database management applications in support of customer requirements. These proprietary software applications include Materiel Enterprise Non-Standard Equipment (MENS-E), Human Resource Tracking (HRT) and Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) as fully supported systems, which enabled our customers to automate their tasks.

APPLICATION: Materiel Enterprise Non-Standard Equipment (MENS-E)

USE: Supply and Equipment Management

Z Systems developed MENS-E for coordinating and managing sustainment requirements and procurement information for over 400 assets valued at $18 billion for the U.S. Army’s non-standard equipment including everything from specialized vehicles to computer software. This application supported over 3,000 worldwide users in a secured environment. New capabilities were continually added, and the U.S. Army ultimately made MENS-E the official database of record for the accountability and disposition of non-standard equipment.

APPLICATION: Human Resource Tracking (HRT)

USE: Personnel Management

Z Systems developed HRT for use in managing and controlling human resource actions from pre-onboarding events through final disposition of employee records on exit. HRT provides a data driven, secure environment to house recruitment data, career progression data, training and certification data, and individualized information required by our customer. HR teams use this application and the data collected to make better HR decisions, better understand and evaluate the business impact of people, and improve executive decision making in people-related matters.

APPLICATION: Transportation Motor Pool (TMP)

USE: Fleet and Operator Management

Z Systems developed TMP as an all-in-one platform for organizing and managing a commercial fleet of vehicles and motor vehicle operators, which includes scheduling daily commitments, dispatching, timekeeping, inventory control, and historical asset recording. This application allows companies that rely on transportation in business to remove many of the risks associated with vehicle investment and management, improving efficiency, productivity and reducing overall transportation and staff costs associated with managing a large fleet.

APPLICATION: Army Modernization Training Automation Systems

USE: Training Management

Z Systems successfully migrated the legacy Army Modernization Training Automation Systems (AMTAS) into a web-based SQL application. AMTAS is the centralized system for the preparation and processing of New Equipment Training Plans (NETPs). The NETPs are used to train personnel on new/improved equipment being fielded. The system covered all aspects of training; providing answers to questions of who, what, when, where, and how. AMTAS is used by major training headquarters. Z Systems currently maintains this system for the U.S. Army and provides help desk support.
